Hello, my name is Charles Hamilton. I started chasing storms in 2009 and have enjoyed every time I'm out in my element. I have been associated with several different groups during that time. Like Missouri Storm Chasers, then Missouri Tornado Chasers for a year, after which I formed Midwest Skywarn. I did some chasing for Storm View Live and SVL Media. I fell in love with Severe Weather when my family and I were in the other edge of the Topeka tornado in the early 60's. I watched The Wizard of Oz every year as a kid and was fascinated even more. Except for the flying monkeys. That was nightmare stuff. Anyway I have no college degrees. All my training has been with Skywarn and field implementation. I know what I'm doing and how to stay safe and report what I'm seeing in the field. Don't get me wrong, the adrenaline flows thru my veins like any body out there but I respect Mother Nature and don't want to add any problems being had because of the weather.
